Grants and Communications Manager

Melisa is the Grants and Communications Manager for the Cornell K. Lisa Yang Center for Wildlife Health. She manages and supports grant research and writing, constituent relations, and marketing and communications efforts for the center. Prior to joining Cornell University, Melisa worked in the private sector as a technical writer. She earned her PhD from Cornell University in Genetics, Genomics, and Development with a focus on science communication. Melisa also has experience as an adjunct professor, research associate, and conservation advocate.
